Rabat, May 15, 2008 - Three Frenchmen,
who were recently arrested in possession
of a weapon and a non-declared foreign
currency at the Marrakech international
airport, appeared before the military
court of Rabat, judicial sources said on
Thursday.
The suspects, Egyptian-born Hassan Daoud Youssef, and Saadna El
Houari and Jamal Mhadji (both from Algerian
descends) are sued mainly for "illegal
possession of weapon and ammunitions,"
"possession of non-declared foreign
currency" and "money laundering," the same
source added.
Hassan Daoud, 24, was arrested on May
6 at the Marrakech international airport in
possession of a gun and 10 cartridges
concealed in his luggage.
The two other accomplices, Saadna El
Houari and Jamal Mhadji, were arrested with
some non-declared Euro 37,000.
